Power Lunch at Tomo

On days off from school, my daughter loves a good power lunch. Today, among big ad execs and venture capitalists, Big A dined with her attorney (okay Daddy). I just came along for the ride. In all seriousness, Tomo is the perfect lunch spot in the heart of Buckhead. In a half an hour you can be in and out, fully sated with a beautiful and tasty Bento Box.

All varieties (chicken teriyaki, beef teriyaki, sushi, tempura, sashimi) come with the best tasting miso soup in town, a ginger salad, yakisoba, a couple of pan-fried dumplings, 4 pieces of California roll, and seaweed salad. While the presence of Little Foodies is sparse at this Ritz Residences’ locale, the staff readily welcomed Big A and even offered her a pair of “cheater chops” as she likes to call them.  While it’s not the cheapest kids meal in town, it’s a steal for the adults.  Besides, Big A’s attorney picked up the tab for his most important client.
